Does anyone have an idea why all those tech layoffs are happening? The whole week has been news about stuff like that
My guess is economic hardship is leading to cuts (and its usually decisions that were made prior to the holidays that get deferred to January). Ultimately these cuts lead to an increase in their share price, so they are doing this to benefit their shareholders.
