TikTok Shop’s second Black Friday in the U.S. generated over $100 million in sales, with users viewing more than 30,000 livestreams. Notably, Stormi Steele, founder of Canvas Beauty, earned $2 million during a single livestream, selling over 100,000 products and grossing more than $3 million throughout the day. Despite being a newer player in e-commerce, TikTok Shop is gaining traction, especially among younger consumers, with popular categories including fashion, beauty, and home. However, its growth could face challenges if legislative actions in early 2024 affect its app store availability.
