Once upon a time in a land far, far away, I wanted to be a singer/songwriter. That dream was slayed by all the mundane things in life as well as myasthenia gravis which did a number on my vocal cords. So eventually I settled on being an author, and I do have a self-published poetry collection out there, but that took a backseat to everything else too.
At some point while working as a captioner, I discovered vloggers LaToya Forever and Brooklyn and Bailey on YouTube, neither of which I thought I would enjoy, but I kept grabbing their files and I got absolutely hooked. I've never missed a vlog from either account in all these years, and it ignited that itch to be a vlogger myself.
I'm just beginning to experiment with vlogging. I've filmed quite a bit and I'm busy editing but haven't posted anything yet. But I think it will be the perfect way to express my creativity in all the ways that were stifled since giving up my original dream.
