YouTube lets some creators try new tool, "Dream Screen" for AI shorts backgrounds

YouTube is testing a new feature called Dream Screen, which uses AI to generate green screen backgrounds for Shorts. Creators in the test group can access the tool, type in their desired background (e.g., "enchanted rainbow flower forest" or "fancy hotel pool on a tropical island"), and use the generated images in their videos. The feature is initially available to a limited number of creators, with plans to expand access later in the year. YouTube is eager to hear feedback and see the creative uses of Dream Screen.
