Influencers Are Racing to Profit From the Trump Shooting

After the assassination attempt on Donald Trump, pro-Trump influencers and right-wing activists quickly began selling merchandise featuring an image of Trump with blood on his face and a raised fist. Figures like Candace Owens and Sebastian Gorka released shirts with slogans supporting Trump. Other influencers, such as the Hodge Twins and FaZe Clan's Richard "FaZe Banks" Bengston, also capitalized on the event, endorsing Trump and selling related merchandise. This quick monetization of the shooting incident drew criticism from some social media users. The Trump campaign itself, while fundraising off the event, has not yet released any related merchandise.

Merch by extremist or politically charged people are one thing, but the memes are also a huge content farm for people.

I have found that some people will capitalize on anything, irrespective of it being a touchy subject.
