Adobe Adds AI Video Magic Directly in Premiere Pro

Adobe has introduced its Firefly video generation feature within Premiere Pro, offering tools that use AI to simplify video editing for creative professionals. The key feature, Generative Extend, allows editors to seamlessly add short, AI-generated footage to the beginning or end of clips, with mid-clip flexibility. Firefly's new Text-to-Video and Image-to-Video tools enable users to create video clips directly from text or images, broadening creative possibilities. Outputs are designed to be "commercially safe," addressing copyright concerns. Adobe aims to streamline workflows and set a responsible standard for AI in video editing, enhancing efficiency while reducing the need for reshoots.

Cant help but be wary about the copyright claims.

I’ve heard “commercially safe” before, but what happens if something slips through the cracks? Whos responsible? Whos liable? How does it get fixed once exposed to the model?

Id be interested to see how Adobe trained their models and what datasets they used
